Well, we made it to Florida without too many issues. The U-boxes were delivered a few days later so by Christmas weekend we had them unloaded and they picked them up the next day. We found a few Christmas decorations and Dad put them up outside.
I put up the Nativity and so now it looks Christmassy.
Tomorrow for Christmas we will head over and have lunch with Pop-Pop. I bought the ingredients to make those delicious margaritas we had at Thanksgiving.
David is enjoying life in England and already attended Charlotte's work Christmas party. They are still planning to get married pretty soon and later have a big party or wedding for everyone to enjoy.
He had a shock on his drive to Dallas and received notice that Cassie's flight had been canceled. So he was scrambling to figure out what to do, whether to change his flight and leave the next day or just ditch the cat! LOL, I'm just kidding. In the end, he had a friend in Dallas that he was able to meet up with and he put Cassie on the flight the next day. David got there on schedule and when they went to get Cassie the next day Customs were questioning one of her vaccines. So she spent two days being boarded until they cleared her. Darn cat, she's enjoying herself and getting along with Charlotte's families multiple pets.
Love,
Mom
