Busy Blog Week

I received quite a few photos and videos this week. Plus David is going to write a post about some excursions he and Charlotte have taken recently around their area.

But first...

I decided after moving around for 36 years with this wedding gown I found a few places that might be interested in using the material for other things. So, I plan to look into those and let go of it. I was able to zip it up about half way, so that's not too bad. Ladies, if you can have your gown remade into something else then do it. Otherwise it will just hang in your closet for decades.

Hailey found the best picture of Nurse Luke and of course I have to share because we are all so proud of him.
This is on ASU's website for the Nursing degree.

We watched The Big White a movie with Robin Williams and Woody Harrelson it was pretty good. It was made in 2005 and set in Alaska. Here's a trailer to it, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jzU0CHI37Yg

We spent a lot of time outdoors this past weekend as it was in the 80s on Saturday. We played putt putt and went on several walks. Sunday we checked out 3 local lakes for fishing and found this cute turtle.

And here's a picture of Dad and Cricket snuggling. LOL, I think Dad has decided we are no longer finding a little old lady to give him to.

And what would a post be without a visit from the Red Power Ranger!! I hope this video loads so you can see how cute she is and make sure the sound is on so you can hear little yell.

Well, I hope you all have a great week.

Mom

Snow Day(s)

It's been a quiet week here now that the holidays are over. Friday is Pop-Pop's birthday, we will take him out to dinner this weekend. So if you have a few minutes give him a call and wish him a Happy Birthday!

Here's a photo of Watson, who I'm told really enjoyed the recent snow. His feet are ginormous.

Dad's currently putting together my new mobile desk for work. It's a very slim desk and holds two monitors.

I don't need a large area for writing so the desk portion is a good size for a keyboard and mouse. But I can move it around the house.

We've had a lot of rain lately and though our temps didn't reach anywhere near where y'alls did it was still a bit chilly.

Dad got his free lifetime pass to visit any of Florida's state parks, we really enjoy this perk as it gets him and one guest in free. There are a lot of really historical places to explore and several beaches.

Well not much going on this week, I've opened up the comments to everyone so give it a try and let me know if it works.

Love,
Mom

New Years Eve and the Week After

Well, another year in the books! Lots to be thankful for.

Chris and Maureen held a Toddler New Year with Luke and Hailey there and their neighbors, I will post the video but I'm not sure if it will run, let me know if it didn't.

David and Charlotte sent a few pictures, and they have set a date for the small marriage ceremony April 6, 2024. They will plan for a larger ceremony at a later date. But regardless of when, we are very happy they are finally together now and can start enjoying their time together.

My new favorite snack,

they also come in honey mustard flavor, which is really good too.

We've taken several long walks here as the weather has been in the 60's and 70's. The walking trails are really nice and wander through wooded areas with ponds. The rec center near our house has pool tables, ping pong tables and even a few pac man arcade games. We go a few evenings a week as it's not too busy. I will end with a video of Holland painting Chris' toenails, lol. Also, Luke and Hailey, I need pictures!!!
